Taxi driver crashes 'after row over fare'

A TAXI carrying five passengers in Rotherham lost control and hit a tree, reportedly after a fare dispute.

The 44-year-old Sheffield driver of the black London cab suffered a broken pelvis after the early-morning crash in Wickersley.

Police have appealed for witnesses to the incident at 4.30am on October 24, which happened outside the Tanyard shopping precinct on Bawtry Road.
