Rotherham man charged with public order offence after Sheffield Wednesday v Sunderland
A 31-YEAR-OLD Rotherham man is due to appear in court this morning following his arrest for a public order offence after Friday's Sheffield Wednesday match against Sunderland.
Dale Houghton, from Rotherham, was arrested on Saturday (September 30) after reports of two men displaying an image of six-year-old Sunderland fan Bradley Lowery, who tragically lost his life to cancer.
Houghton has been charged with a Section 4a public order offence and remanded in custody.

Hide AdHe will appear before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said the force had also applied for a football banning order.
A 27-year-old man, also arrested on Saturday, has been released on police bail while further enquiries are conducted.
