Probe after body found in Rotherham

POLICE have launched an investigation after a man’s body was found in Rotherham town centre this morning.

A member of the public made the discovery on Hollowgate and officers attended at about 7.30am.

A police spokeswoman said: “At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained.”

A cordon is in place while forensic examinations are carried out. Enquiries are ongoing.
