Police probe after man stabbed by stranger in Bramley

POLICE are investigating after a man was stabbed by a stranger with an “unknown weapon” in Bramley.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service contacted the force in relation to the incident on Flash Lane at 3pm last Monday.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “It is reported that a 41-year-old man was standing outside his car when he was approached by an unknown offender and believed to be stabbed with an unknown weapon.

“The victim suffered non-life threatening wounds to his hands and back. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.

“An investigation into the circumstances and to identify those involved is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to report via our online portal or call 101 quoting incident 578 of November 14.”
