Online chance to talk with police on CSE

AN ONLINE discussion will give people the chance to quiz the cops about what is being done to tackle child sexual exploitation.

South Yorkshire Police is hosting the event on Tuesday (Feb 3) between 6pm and 7pm.

Officers from the force’s Public Protection Unit will answer questions during the session.

People can log on to the force website at www.southyorks.pnn.police.uk/webchats and ask questions to Detective Superintendent Matt Fenwick, Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Poolman and Detective Sergeant Jane Fidler.

Anyone who would like to ask a question but is not able to join in on the day can send them in advance by tweeting @syptweet or post a message on the South Yorkshire Police Facebook page.

There will also be the facility to ask questions privately.

Detective Superintendent Fenwick, head of the Public Protection Unit, said: “We know how important it is to keep the public updated on all the work we are doing to tackle child sexual exploitation.

“This is a great way for people to speak directly to the officers who investigate these offences.”
