Masked robbers steal gold jewellery from family walking dog in woods

THREE masked men approached a couple and their two children walking their dog in woods and stole gold jewellery after reportedly threatening the family with violence.

The suspects approached the couple and their two children who were walking their dog in Treeton Woods yesterday evening (September 7) at 7pm and reportedly demanded jewellery.

A number of gold jewellery items were taken from the family.

Officers are now appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time to come forward with information.
