Masked robbers hunted by police
The 88-year-old victim was at home in Thrybergh at 8.20pm on Saturday evening when he was threatened by three unknown men, one of who was brandishing a cut-throat razor.
A police spokeswoman said: “It is then alleged that the suspects stole cash and a black jewellery box, containing a pearl necklace, a gold wedding ring and five other rings, which contained semi-precious stones.

Hide Ad“The unknown men had their faces covered and are thought to have left the area in a vehicle.
“The 88-year-old man was injured, but shaken by the incident.”
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident to call 101 quoting incident number 1117 of March 7.
