Man stole keys while woman was sat in car

A WOMAN who parked her car in a residential area was approached by a man who reached in and took her keys.

The incident occurred on September 20 at around 6.45pm on The Maltings area of Moorgate and police have now released an e-fit image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

A South Yorkshire Police spokeswoman said the man asked the woman to leave her vehicle – a green Skoda Octavia - before reaching in and taking her keys.

The man then ran off into the direction of Canklow Woods

The spokeswoman added: “Following enquiries in the area, police investigating the incident have now released an e-fit image of a man they would like to trace and want to hear from you if you recognise him, or saw anything suspicious in the area.
