Man in hospital after machinery accident
A MAN has been hospitalised after becoming trapped in machinery at Thurnscoe.
The worker — thought to be in his 60s — became stuck in a hopper at a site on Davey Road at around 7.30pm yesterday.
Two fire crews from Dearne station and one from Adwick freed the man, before paramedics conveyed him to hospital.
Firefighters left the scene at around 10.15pm. A spokeswoman was not able to comment on the man’s injuries.
