Man found with Samurai sword and illegal drugs
A MAN was arrested after police found two Samurai-style weapons and illegal drugs in his car.
Officers stopped the man this afternoon after receiving reports of drug dealing in the East Dene area.
On searching the man and his vehicle, they found a Samurai sword, a knife of similar design and a quantity of “spice” — previously a “legal high” but now illegal.
The suspect was already wanted on a court warrant and was taken in for questioning, a police spokesman said.
