Man exposed himself to schoolgirl

The incident happened on Monday, January 25 between 3.05pm and 3.15pm in Wath.

Police said the girl, who was walking along Brooke Dyke in the Station Road area, was left shaken and upset.

The suspect is described as white, early 20s, about 5ft 6ins tall with short, curly blond hair. He was seen wearing blue tracksuit bottoms.

PC Christopher Hawke: “We believe the man remained in the area for about 20 minutes following the incident.

“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time or who spotted someone acting suspiciously to phone police.

“I would like to reassure residents that we will be providing an increased police presence in the area following this incident.”
