Man charged after 42 cannabis plants discovered

A 24-year-old Edlington man has been charged by police following the discovery of 42 cannabis plants and a firearm.

Bradley Nelson of Princes Crescent, was arrested after a warrant was executed at a property in Edlington on Wednesday and officers seized the drugs and firearm.

Nelson is due to appear at Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday February 27 charged with being concerned in the production of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cannabis and possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear or harm.

A 17-year-old boy was also arrested and has been bailed pending further police enquiries.
