M1 incident leaves woman with serious head injuries

A WOMAN suffered serious head injuries after the car she was driving veered across three lanes of the M1 and into a field.

The 34-year-old was travelling southbound between junctions 33 and 32,

in a silver Mercedes SLK convertible when the incident happened at around 11.50am on Monday.
