Sergeant Denis Plaistow said: “We are pleased with the sentence handed to McKay, ensuring he remains off the streets of Rotherham for a considerable period of time.

“We are carrying out extensive work across the borough to tackle those who choose to deal drugs and bring them to justice.”

He added: “Drugs destroy communities and the associated criminality is a blight on our town and the lives of our residents.

“Our work will continue to get those dealing drugs put behind bars to make our town safer.”
