Firefighters tackle arson attack on van
A VAN was deliberately set on fire in on a residential road on Sunday morning.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at 6.50am on Morrison Avenue, Maltby, and were at the scene for an hour.
Another fire broke out this morning at 2.30am on Merrill Road, Thurnscoe, next to an electrical sub station.
Dearne station attended the scene and used dry powder to extinguish the blaze.
Firefighters were there just under an hour and the cause of it is not yet known.
