Fire service tackled blazes in host of overnight incidents

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a host of incidents overnight including a shed and skip fire.

Crews attended a shed fire at 4am on Heatherdale Road, Maltby, which had been started deliberately. 

They left the scene 40 minutes later.

Firefighters were called out to a deliberate skip fire at 11.10pm on Bradmarsh Way, Templeborough, Rotherham. 

The crew left the scene at 11.35pm.

Firefighters contended with a deliberate rubbish fire at 7.55pm on Canklow Road, Canklow. 

The crew left the scene at 8.10pm.

Parkway firefighters received a call regarding a fire involving a large amount of paper at 6am on Grange Lane in Brinsworth.

They left the area 45 minutes later and said the fire was started deliberately.
