Fire crews battle Swallownest and Wath blazes
FIRE officers had to put out a fire in a fridge left on grassland near Gray Avenue in Swallownest on Monday (Mar 2) evening.
They spent about 20 minutes tackling the blaze after being called at 7.15pm.
Meanwhile, a crew from Wath spent 40 minutes tackling rubbish that had been deliberately set alight on the skate park at Biscay Way, Wath at 7.55pm the same evening.
