Family of attack victim (80) left unconscious issue thanks after donations reach £6,000
Tommy Ward’s family issued pictures on Facebook showing the horrific injuries he suffered in the incident at Salisbury Road last weekend.
They prompted a wave of disgust for the attackers and support for the 80-year-old victim, and a GoFundMe online appeal page set up for him was flooded with contributions.
