Driver arrested in town centre after cannabis seized by cops
A 35-YEAR-OLD driver has been arrested and bailed after a police team targetting drug use in the town centre spotted him driving down a road the wrong way.
The man was spotted and stopped on Upper Millgate by officers from Rotherham’s Central Neighbourhood Team conducting a proactive operation at 3pm on Monday.

Hide AdA police spokesperson said a small quantity of cannabis had been recovered during the search of the blue Mercedes and confirmed the 35-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cannabis and bailed pending further enquiries.
