Denaby stabbing: Second suspect released by police

Forensic teams swooped on aTadcaster Close property after the body of 40-year-old James King was discovered at 6.30pm last Saturday .

A post-mortem confirmed that he died of a stab wound.

Officers arrested a 36-year-old local man and a 33-year-old local woman on suspicion of murder and were granted extra time to quiz them.

The woman was released on Tuesday and the man was released today — both on police bail for three weeks.

Forensic teams have remained on the scene as officers sealed off the flats and a section of road to carry out their investigations.

A police spokesman said: “We are unable to say anymore at this stage.”
