Cat killed in flat fire
A CAT perished in a flat fire caused by an unattended chip pan.
A man in his 20s managed to get out of the first floor property safely shortly after 3am.
Three fire engines were at the scene at Shawlands Court, Wath, for about two hours.
A spokeswoman confirmed the cause was accidental.
