Body found in search for missing Thurcroft man

POLICE searching for a dad who was missing for two months have found a body.

Lee Bowman (44) had not been seen since October 31, despite extensive inquiries.

A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said this afternoon: “Officers searching for missing Rotherham man Lee Bowman can sadly confirm a body of a man has been found in Thurcroft.

“Lee’s family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.”

In an appeal last week, Lee was described as a family man, whose relatives were worried by the lengthy period with no contact.
