Biker robbed man's phone outside pub

A MOTORCYCLIST stopped outside a pub and robbed a man’s mobile phone in the early hours.

Police said a 29-year-old man was waiting for a taxi outside the Wilton, Kimberworth Road, at 4.30am on Sunday.

The biker assaulted him, causing minor facial injuries, after he refused to hand over his phone.

The suspect — riding a trails bike — stole the phone and rode off towards Rotherham town centre.

He is described as white, between 5ft 8ins and 5ft 10ins tall, late teens with short black hair.

He reportedly spoke with a local action and was wearing dark clothes and a white helmet with a black stripe.
