Armed police arrest driver at Bramley after chase
ARMED police arrested a man in Bramley after a high-speed chase from Broom Road.
The vehicle — believed to be a VW Touran — had failed to stop for officers at about 11.50am yesterday (Thursday).
Police pursued the vehicle on Bawtry Road through Wickersley. It eventually stopped on Church Lane.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The driver was detained on suspicion of Section 4 public order offences.”
