Commissioner to speak to budding business leaders

ROTHERHAM Borough Council commissioner Julie Kenny will speak at a new business academy in Sheffield.

The former Pyronix boss is a guest at the Sheffield Junior Chamber International’s event over the weekend of September 10 and 11.

JCI Sheffield president Gareth Carson said: “Business Academy is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to further their career, wanting to set up their own business or simple wanting a taste for the world of business.

“At JCI Sheffield we are all about empowering young people to achieve awesome and be the best they can be. With the skills provided by JCI, what seems the impossible can become the possible.”

Other speakers include Sheffield Chamber of Commerce’s Richard Wright and Business Sheffield’s Natalie Fletcher.
