College showcases courses on open day

FARM tours and animal trails will be part of a college’s community open day.

Rotherham College’s Dinnington campus will be showcasing courses offered on Saturday (14) from 10am to 2pm.

Meerkats and horses will be among the animals on show and there will be a chance to explore the on-site Mining Meadows Farm and meet the reptiles, ponies, rabbits and other creatures.

A spokesman said: “You’ll be able to gain insight about the courses on offer, talk to staff and tour the facilities, which recently had a £2.5 million refurbishment.”
