Cheques handed over to help good causes

A CHURCH group handed over funds to two good causes at its annual presentation evening.

Wickersley Methodist Wives Group handed over a pair of £500 cheques at the event.

Immediate past president of the group, Margaret Baldry, presented the cheques to Lynda Shelton, chairwoman of the Rotherham Hospice Trust, and Catherine Sarjeant, church senior steward representing Wickersley Methodist Church.
