Car torched in Braithwell and Goldthorpe

A Vauxhall Astra was reported to be fire on Braithwell Road, Braithwell, at 8.40pm on Saturday.

Firefighters from Maltby station attended the scene and left the area by 9.05pm.

In the early hours of Sunday morning, a Ford Fiesta car was set on firet on Dudley Drive, Goldthorpe. 

A crew from Dearne station were dispatched to the area at 12.40am. They came away from the scene after 25 minutes.

Both fires were believed to be deliberate, said a spokesperson from South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
