Businesses spread Christmas cheer
TWO Dearne businesses are out to spread Christmas cheer among charities and community groups with seasonal giveaways.
Mexborough’s Discount Food Centre is offering £1,000 in £20 vouchers to community groups, while Pastures Christmas Trees, on the same site, will hand over five Christmas trees to good causes.
Discount Foods owner Steve Percival said the offers were available on a first come, first served basis to groups and charities from the Dearne area.
To claim either a tree or a voucher, potential beneficiaries need to head to Discount Foods on Pastures Road with written identification and, preferably, an official ID card or lanyard.
