BREAKING: Two held over murder of Wath man

A MAN and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of the murder of a Wath man whose body was found on moorland.

A 41-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were arrested in Sheffield on suspicion of murder and were being questioned on Friday afternoon.

Craig Nelson, also known as Craig Preston (34), was found dead on the moors of the A628 at Woodhead Tunnels at around 11am on Monday, August 22.

A post-mortem examination found he died as a result of head injuries and a murder inquiry was launched.

Detectives remain keen to hear from anyone who saw or heard from Mr Nelson in the days leading up to his death.
