Boy on a Dolphin reunite for village hall gigs

SOUTH Yorkshire favourites Boy on a Dolphin will be performing two intimate Rotherham area gigs next month.

BOD will be returning to to Letwell Village Hall for two nights, on June 28 and 29, in their first gigs together since an energy-charged appearance at the Sheffield City Hall five months ago.

The gig will see the return of keyboard player James Jayawardena from Dubai, where he has been working with Take That star Gary Barlow.

It will also see frontman John Reilly returning to the band after a spell promoting new material alongside Canadian singer-songwriter Lewis Nitikman.

Boy on a Dolphin have made an annual pilgrimage to the intimate, 80-seat venue for the past four years and this year’s gigs come just days before the other highlight of the village’s social calendar, its annual street fair”

Tickets for the gigs, which open their doors at 8pm, are £12 and are available from Martyn Sharpe on 01909 731626.

All proceeds go towards the upkeep of Letwell Village Hall.
