Blooming marvellous Christmas for Dinnington floral designer

CHRISTMAS came early in blooming marvellous fashion for a floral designer when she discovered that one of her designs was to feature in a magazine seen by people across the world.

Barbara Coe-Colley, who lives and works in Dinnington, entered a winter wreath into a Winter/Christmas wreath competition run by Fusion Flowers on Facebook.

The former primary school teacher, who also teaches the piano, said: “I thought it might be fun to enter so made a winter wreath and sent a photograph to Fusion Flowers.”

She said that she was “so thrilled” when she discovered that her design was one of those chosen — from entries from all over the world — to be in the November edition of the magazine.

As well as teaching floral design, Barbara also creates arrangements from her home as part of her Smart Flowers business.
