Alphabeat star at Rotherham Christmas lights switch-on

DANISH popsters Alphabeat, whose hits include Fascination, Boyfriend and 10,000 Nights, will headline the entertainment at the switch-on of Rotherham's Christmas lights tomorrowAlso on the bill at the event in ALl Saints Square will be  Hall

DANISH popsters Alphabeat, whose hits include Fascination, Boyfriend and 10,000 Nights, will headline the entertainment at the switch-on of Rotherham's Christmas lights tomorrow

Also on the bill at the event in ALl Saints Square will be  Hallam FM presenters,  Big John and his Breakfast team and up-and-coming starlet Scarlette Fever.

The centrepiece of of display will ba 35ft tree in All Saints' Square. The Mayor of Rotherham, Cllr Shaukat Ali, will officially launched the festive season by pushing the button to switch on the lights  at 6pm
