Ale fans pick a winner at beer festival preview

ALE fans have chosen Yorkshire's best beer at a preview of Rotherham Real Ale and Music Festival 2015.

Volunteers tasted dozens of ales at the pre-event session on Wednesday night, before a final panel picked the CAMRA Champion Beer of Yorkshire.

Tasters crowned North Yorkshire brew Hambleton Nightmare their overall favourite, but Rotherham producers scooped several medals.
