Aldi opens its doors at Parkgate
SOME 200 people queued outside as the new Aldi opened its doors in Parkgate.
The first 100 were given a golden ticket and the top prize of a TV went to Susan Eastburn.
The supermarket chain made a donation to Rotherham Scout Group, who cut the ribbon.
Store manager Dave Ward said: “We were really pleased that so many people turned up.”
