"Abuse victim was made pregnant twice", jury told

Prosecutor Michelle Colborne said it happened in about 1999 when the girl was about 14.

“She believed she was in a relationship with the then 24-year-old Arshid who would  climb through her bedroom window and have sex with her,” she said.

Ms Colborne said the girl’s father challenged Arshid and had a fight with him. “The girl then went missing for weeks,” she said.

“She became pregnant by Arshid at 14 and records show she had a termination.”

The girl was placed in foster care but a year later was pregnant again and gave birth to Arshid’s child, the jury was told.

Hussain denies all 29 charges against him.
