Sir--I would propose that we bulldoze the town centre and build a proper shopping mall with free parking.
The town centre has been a mess for 30 years and will never be any good as long as we keep bodging things.
No doubt the "Hysterical Society" will quote their drivel about losing the ancient architecture but without proper shopping facilities our town will remain a dead loss.
Also we need to lose at least half of our councillors to save money and stop the abuse of their expenses system.
I wish Tesco every success in their new premises and hope that my idea for the town centre is brought to fruition very soon.
