POLICE sealed off an area off woodland after man’s body was found by a dog walker.
The man, who has not yet been named, was discovered at around 3.45pm on Tuesday in an area of Wath Woods off Abdy Lane which was cordoned off overnight.
Investigating officers remained at the scene yesterday but confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances.
The body, which was recovered from the scene yesterday morning, was set to be officially identified yesterday afternoon.
It is believed that the man was in his 40s and from the Swinton area.
