PROMISING boxer Perry Draycott has marked her first season with a national title.
The 23-year-old from Rawmarsh won the 54kilo Class B title at the English Women's Amateur National Championships at Mansfield by beating Michelle Barker (Studio BC, Birmingham).
Perry, who fights out of the Aspire club at Darnall, was 5-4 down after the first round but surged back to lead 15-7 after the second and stopped her opponent in the third round.
The victory avenged a defeat to Barker in February.
