Aston firefighters will be welcoming visitors into the station this weekend for a fun-packed open day.
There will be a range of activities and demonstrations planned throughout the event from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, including:
q a Technical Rescue Unit (TRU) display.
q an Aerial Ladder Platform demonstration.
q a Firefighter’s Charity stall.
q A DJ and entertainer.
q Performances from dance group Amy's Funky Dance
q Face painting, glitter tattoos and caricatures and other fairground stalls.
q Charity and community stalls.
q Refreshments.
Station Manager Graham Toms said: "People are invited to come along and find out a little more about how things work here at the station.
“There will be plenty of activities for all the family to enjoy a really good day out.
“Our firefighters will also be on hand to offer valuable road and fire safety advice."
