A 27-year-old man arrested after a stabbing incident in Rotherham town centre yesterday is being detained by police on suspicion of attempted murder.
The 25-year-old woman taken to Rotherham General Hospital with stab wounds after the lunchtime attack on Bridgegate is still being treated for her injuries, but they are no longer considered life-threatening.
