Titans mini-juniors plea for helpers.

TITANS Mini-Juniors are putting out an appeal for help on and off the field as the new season looms.

Now entering their sixth season, the group are looking forward to welcoming record numbers.

Over 150 signed up last year and the club are looking to grow and topple the 200 mark this time round.

The club is running every age group to allow kids and young adults from the ages 6 to 17 to take part, with additional U13 and U16 squads. This season the club will be aided by specialist coaching sessions by the Titans players and coaches to further the skills and abilities of the participants.

Pre-season training takes place on Herringthorpe Fields at 6.30pm.  For U7-U13 the training days are Wednesdays and for the older age groups it is on Tuesdays.

Pre-season training is free to all and provides newcomers the opportunity to try out the sport without having to commit for the whole season, which begins on Sunday, September 5 to coincide with the Titans opening home fixture.

Volunteer helpers are very welcome and many roles are available including coaches, treasurer, first aiders, team managers, fund-raisers.

The club is in the final stages of achieving the prestigious Seal of Approval Gold rating and everyone involved in the club is CRB checked, and hold a minimum of RFU Level 1 qualification.
