Rother FM studio to close

ROTHERHAM’S Rother FM radio station is to close down its studio in the town, it has been revealed.

The offices will close, although the station, owned by Lincs FM, will continue broadcasting through the company’s network, a spokeswoman confirmed.

The economic climate has been blamed for the closure.

    This article makes it sound as if Rotherham will be getting a networked set of programmes, like so many other brands, Heart Smooth etc, in fact, Rother fm will continue it's own programming from a different location at Trax fm in Doncaster. Obviously there will be a certain amount of input that is shared with other stations in the group.
