DEARNE Valley College is requesting old balls and boots to be sent to Africa.
The Wath-based college is calling for everything from baseballs to rugby boots.
Sam Meadows, DVC programme area manager for sport and physical recreation, said:
“I would urge people and organisations to have a look in gardens, sheds and garages—all of it will be donated to a worthwhile cause.”
The balls and boots—clean and useable with boot laces tied together—should be dropped off at DVC Sports on the Manvers Campus by Friday, August 27.
