This was the third Urban Spotlight, with more than a dozen performers at nightclub Liquid including Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalists Ice.
Ben Wheeler, of organisers Drunken Boy Records, said: “The night went really well and all the acts got brilliant exposure and great reactions from the crowd.
“Ice went down a treat and the atmosphere was amazing and Siobhan Gallagher took to the dancefloor to perform while everyone danced around her.”
Duo Jack West and Milns scooped a double with awards for best performance and best hustle.
“They got an absolutely electric response from the crowd,” said Ben. “And M Jay took home the best song award for his really catchy R&B-style rap song Angel.
“We also presented Ice with an achievement award for what they have achieved so far. Hopefully they have a great career ahead of them.”
