SOME of the residents at Windy Lodge at Aughton would like to thank the UKIP councillor for the Holderness ward Mick Elliot, who was made aware of the problem of paths that needed gritting in order for residents to access the centre and to be able to get to the Post Office for their pensions etc.
THE other week when visiting Aston Leisure Centre my wife slipped slightly in the car park.
THERE were no buses on Boxing Day in Rotherham, except for the X1.

I WAS saddened to read that a poppy seller had been fined for parking for a few minutes on the pavement near the Chapel on the Bridge and think in this case the fine should be waived.
I WONDER how many people notice whether their post has been officially franked or the stamps crossed out with a Biro or felt pen?

WELL it wasn’t late December back in ‘63 but the Sheffield City Hall audience could be forgiven for thinking it was as the East Coast Boys went through a huge amount of the Four Seasons’ hits as part of their Big Boys Don’t Cry tour.
