Your chance to back our cracking Easter appeal

Mexborough-based Food Aware has teamed up with Denaby Main haulage firm JP Walton to collect Easter eggs for the area’s youngsters, and the Weekender is once again giving its support.

JP Walton has once again pledged to match all the chocolate treats donated, and we want you to help by dropping Easter eggs off at the office of the Dearne Valley Weekender in High Street, Mexborough.

Easter arts and crafts packs and cuddly toys will also be welcome.

You can drop off your Easter egg donations until next — Tuesday, March 20 — after which they will be collected by a volunteer dressed as the Easter Bunny and distributed to disadvantaged families.

Donations can also be left at Halifax bank on High Street, Nat West on Bank Street, the Old Market Hall pub and Mexborough Business Centre on College Road.
