ULLEY COUNTRY PARK: A committee meeting was held on March 12 in the Visitor Centre. Matters arising included the issue of the new serving area and the arranging of events at Cafe Days during 2016. On March 6 eight volunteers joined in a Clean for the Queen event where litter picking took place together with a general tidy up in the grounds. A marquee has been received for future events. The park manager’s report gave reference to the future of the caretaker’s cottage in the park and the future improved construction of the two bird hides. Reports from the committee officials followed. A spring newsletter is to be circulated together with a membership reminder for anyone who has not recently renewed their membership.
