WHAT'S ON: Brampton Bierlow

BIG GARDEN BIRDWATCH: January 30-31 – the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch, now in its 37th year, helps provide valuable information about the changes in numbers of birds using gardens in winter and creates a picture of how garden wildlife is doing. Participants count the birds in their garden or local park for one hour over the Big Garden Birdwatch weekend and tell the RSPB what you see. Participants are being asked to log some of the other wildlife, including badgers, hedgehogs and red squirrels. CORTONWOOD COMEBACK CENTRE: Held its first Film Night on January 16. Due to the success of the evening it is hoped that it will be a weekly event. 6.30pm for 7pm start, free.
