VIDEO: Art show exhibits some of the county's best modern works

AN ARTS exhibition has brought together some of the county’s best modern artworks — with many available to buy.

The South Yorkshire Open Art Show opened on Saturday at the Old Market Gallery.

It features paintings, photography, sculpture, digital art, jewellery and much more, all by Yorkshire-based creatives.

Pieces can be had for as little as £5, while some larger works are worth up to £5,000.

The exhibition runs for four weeks, until Saturday, April 24. Its curator is Victoria Hilton.
